1. Accepting these terms
These terms apply when you use this website or call the RadioSats helpline. By doing either, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site or the helpline.
2. What the service is
RadioSats provides independent telephone support for problems with car satellite radio — activation, weak or dropping signal, missing channels, and questions about a subscription. A specialist talks the problem through with you and helps you work towards a resolution.
3. What the service is not
- We are not a satellite radio provider or broadcaster, and we do not operate any satellite radio network.
- We do not sell, activate, suspend or cancel subscriptions on any provider’s behalf, and we cannot change your account with them.
- We do not sell, install or repair vehicles or radio hardware.
- We cannot guarantee that a problem can be solved by telephone. Some faults need the provider, a dealership or a workshop.
4. Independence and trademarks
RadioSats is an independent third-party service. We are not affiliated with, authorised by, sponsored by or endorsed by any satellite radio provider, broadcaster or vehicle manufacturer. All trademarks, brand names and logos referred to anywhere on this site are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.
If you are looking for a provider’s own customer service, contact that provider directly using the details on your account or on their official website.
5. Charges and payment
Where a chargeable service is offered, the specialist will tell you the price before any chargeable work begins, and you may decline. Nothing is charged without your agreement on the call. Where a fee has been agreed and the work has been carried out, that fee is payable even if the underlying fault turns out to need the provider or a workshop.
The helpline is a toll‑free number within the United States, so calls from a US landline or mobile are free to you. Calls placed from outside the United States, or through some third‑party carriers, may still be charged at your provider’s rate.
6. Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate information. We can only advise on what you tell us.
- Only ask us to work on equipment and accounts you are entitled to deal with.
- Follow safety instructions. Never attempt any step described on a call while driving.
- Back up anything you cannot afford to lose before changing settings on a device.
7. Availability
We aim to answer the helpline 24 hours a day, every day, and to keep this website available. We cannot promise either will be uninterrupted. Demand, network faults, maintenance and events outside our control may affect both. Wait times shown on this site are typical figures, not a guarantee.
8. No warranty
The website and its content are provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Guidance given on a call is our honest professional opinion based on what you have described; it is not a guarantee of any outcome.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RadioSats is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data or use, arising out of the service or this website. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the service giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify RadioSats against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your misuse of the service, from information you gave us that was untrue, or from your breach of these terms.
11. Third-party links
This site may link to websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, their accuracy or their privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming and of the United States, and the courts of that state have jurisdiction over any dispute, without regard to conflict of law rules.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is always the one on this page, with the date shown at the top. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the revised terms.
14. Contact us
Questions about these terms can go to Info@radiosats.com, or call +1 (844) 654-4009. Our registered entity details are in the footer of every page.
Note for review: this is a working draft, not legal advice. Two things need confirming before it goes live — whether section 5 describes your real charging model. Have a qualified adviser check it.
